Here is an A to Z guide, extracted from How to Write an E-book in Ten Days, Flat by Lewis Philip

  • If the content structure is not clear in your mind you cannot hold in mind the overall view of your project or decide what belongs in it

  • Pay attention to the audience profile before putting your pen to the paper

  • Writing from the gut is the sure recipe of a great piece of writing

  • A no-fly zone is a territory over witch an enemy aircraft is not allowed to fly. Writers need to develop no fly-zones as well so that they can keep distraction at the bay.

  • A swimming coach can teach you techniques, but in order to be really good at swimming you need to practice your strokes, everyday. It’s the same with writing.

  • Concentrate on three key words PASSION, GOAL and TIME

  • Plan your content or make a table of content. Later you can sift and soft through those ideas to get the big picture

  • Stay committed to the project

  • Try and keep your train of thoughts on track
  • Keep your readers in mind. It will bring a clear perspective to your writing and you would be able to nail it

  • Double check your references

  • Research is not content

  • Think of ideas that appeal to you both as a writer and a reader

  • Produce value for your readers

  • Every writer has it unique style. Develop your signature style

  • Like an octopus scurrying everywhere just for food , have fun researching your topics

  • Grab your readers right in the beginning of your writing

  • Style comes naturally with years of reading and writing
